Friday is Art Night in Historic Hanapepe

Friday is Art Night in Historic Hanapepe - Kauai's Biggest Little Town.

Several galleries and retail stores stay open late into the cooler evening hours (6 pm to 9 pm) as the town lights up with a party atmosphere. Meet the local artists and gallery owners. Enjoy the music, a snack and good company as you stroll down Hanapepe Road.

Remember, any time of day you can get a colorful map of Historic Hanapepe Walking Tour:

  • Walk on Kauai's longest suspension bridge
  • Visit Historic Buildings (many now art galleries)
  • Discover the Art Capital of Kauai

Find many art galleries located in historic buildings. Quaint and picturesque Hanapepe is 17 miles from Lihue airport and a slight jog on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50). Look for the "Kauai's Biggest Little Town" sign on your right at the easy gateway to Hanapepe Town and turn in. There are two parking areas on the right hand side of Hanapepe Road.

Admission: Free
