Vanilla Cooking Workshops

Did you know vanilla is the only edible fruit of the orchid family, the largest family of flowering plants in the world?


Join us at the Hanapepe Café, 3830 Hanapepe Road, on Saturday, April 5, 1 p.m. to learn about vanilla cuisine in an informative 2-hour cooking class.


Master the art of making:

  1. Crème brulèe

  2. Vanilla ice cream

  3. Homemade vanilla extract, vanilla sugar and syrup



Pastry chef, Helen Lacono, a graduate of Westlake Culinary Arts Institute and owner of the Hanapepe Café Bakery, will be your instructor.
